Audrey Elizabeth Hale was an American trans man who killed several people during a school shooting in Nashville, Tennessee on 27 March 2023. Hale was born female but identified as male.^[1]^[2]

Six people, including three children, are dead as a result of the attack at the Covenant Presbyterian Church School.^[3]^[4]

Hale was a former student of the school and was shot dead by police at the site.^[5]^[6]

Evidence was found at Hale's residence that the attack was premeditated and that an alternative site had been considered but rejected due to greater security.^[7]^[8]
