Assault
- In Australia men are more than twice as likely to be assaulted by a stranger than women.[1]
- Boys are more likely to be assaulted than girls at every age.
Forced Labour
- Until 2014 it was legal for an occupying power to force men with an apparent age between 18 & 45 to perform unfree and unpaid labour.
Genital Mutilation
- Infant boys are the only members of our society who do not have a right to bodily integrity at birth.
- 32% of Australian men under 30 are circumcised, and the rate is falling.[2]
- Less than 20% of infant boys in Australia are circumcised.[3]
Health
- Boys have a higher mortality than girls at every age.
Prisons
- Female prison guards are more likely than male prison guards to have sex with inmates.[4][5]
