Shanice Aviles is an American woman that had allegedly been carrying out a series of burglaries in the Manhattan area. On the evening of 20 December 2022 Aviles was under surveillance by police when she allegedly entered a house on East 65th Street.[1][2][3]
Actor Robert De Niro was residing in the house at the time. Police allegedly located and arrested Aviles in De Niro's house before he was aware of the presence of the burglar.[4][5][6]
