Allyson Brittany Moran was a long-term substitute teacher and coach at Stockbridge High School, Georgia, was convicted of third-degree criminal sexual conduct after she sexually assaulted a 15 year old boy on two occasions.[1][2]
In court Moran's attorney blamed a litany of events occurring in her life and argued that losing her career and having to entered on the sex offenders registry was punishment enough. The judge did not agree and sentenced Moran 25 months to 15 years in prison.[3]
During the court proceedings Moran blamed the victim for his sexual assaults.[4][5]
