Casual misandry

Male bashing is a phenomenon where unfounded negative claims are made about men as a group, or men as a group are insulted or put down. Both men and women can engage in male mashing. This can be considered a form of misandry.

Examples of male bashing are listed here. This list is not exclusive.

• Dismissing statements made by men as mansplaining
• Claiming a man has the manflu
• Slapping or striking a man (men are equally entitled to protection from physical violence as women)
• Claiming that men are obsolete
• Claiming that men or boys are stupid
• Claiming that only women have some particular characteristi multi-tasking, empathy, or whatever
