Jade Hatt

In November 2014 British woman Jade Hatt was baby sitting an 11 year old boys. She removed her own clothes and his and then had sexual intercourse with him. Hatt was 20 at the time of the offence.

Hatt pleaded guilty to sexual activity with a child.

On 6 October 2015 Hatt received a six month suspended sentence, was also ordered to have no unsupervised contact with young boys for two years and must register as a sex offender for seven years The judge, Tim Mousley QC, justified this by claiming that Hatt was immature while her victim was unusually mature.

Tim Mousley QC said:

"Having read everything before me, it was quite clear he was a mature 11-year-old and you were an immature 20-year-old so that narrows the arithmetic age gap between you.

After the hearing the boy's bother stated:

“He was raped and if the sexes had been the other way around I have no doubt they would have issued a jail sentence.

Hatt had previously had a brief sexual relationship with the boy's father.
