Lily Tang Williams is a survivor of Mao's cultural revolution and a former republican candidate. In the summer of 2021, she was a guest at Tim Pool's show and made comparisons between current events in the United States and what happened under Mao. According to Lily, Mao used "Karl Marx theory" to separate people primarily into two groups, oppressors and the oppressed. "Oppressors" included e.g. "rich farmers", "rightists" and "bad influencers" among others.[1]
