In 2021 Department of Education said they do not have an effort underway to explain what is going on
"Instead, it's attributed to the fact that women have no choice but to go to college to access opportunities men already have."
I wonder if USA Today could give examples of these opportunies that men gain without college but for women require college.
While men do experience discrimination at university I don't believe that is the principal reason for this trend. I think men have largely abandoned university, partly because degrees have become more expensive and less useful and partly because men are generally disengaging.
