As of May 2024 [[Brad Rix]] is a serving police officer in the [[Queensland Police Service]] (QPS). During early 2024 Mr Rix made a humorous post on [[instagram]] (below).  QPS received several complaints in relation to this post.  As of 26 May 2024 the matter is reportedly still under investigation while [[The Guardian]] saw fit to report the matter internationally.
