ICMI17 was held at the Albert Waterways Community Centre, Gold Coast Australia, on 9-11 June 2017.  ICMI17 was organised by [[A Voice for Men]] and [[Men's Rights Australia]].  The [[Australian Men's Rights Association Inc]] was established just prior to the conference.  Like many previous men's rights and anti-feminist events the exact location of the conference was not be disclosed until close to the event to minimise the risk of interference with the venue by [[feminist]]s and their allies.
